The central feeding station on Mesquite Ridge in the background. In the foreground there is a hollow stump with food on it that Wilding is eating from. Wilding is prone to excited bursts of energy, that occasionally alarm the other cats around him.

I’d seen this cat climb up this tree before, so I went to it and started looking. I walked across dry crunchy leaves, so I figured it would be there and keeping an eye on me, so I just searched through the foliage looking for a pair of watching eyes. And there it was.

You know, a week ago I would have disagreed strongly with that statement, but now I don’t know. I believe in equal rights regardless of gender, and with the direction that feminism seems to be going, I’m not sure if “feminist” is the correct label for that any longer.

Other people don’t get to decide if you call yourself a feminist.

  One unfortunate thing I’ve noticed about tumblr is that people tend to get caught up in the groupthink and don’t question the accuracy or fairness of what they’re saying. So I decided to write out some of what I think. Just to make this clear I’m NOT writing about feminism or misandry. I’m writing about #feminism and #misandry. Tumblr-brand feminism, which I think (read: hope and pray) is different from “real-world” feminism.
